Recently, there was a leakage from my living room ceiling and kitchen caused by the pipe that was installed by HDB since the flat was built. I approached several renovation companies but was not impressed with their timeline and cost.

Then, I approached E+ Design Pte Ltd. Shakir the Designer, attended to me and advised on several ways to save costs or improvise the design. Being a designer myself. I knew that this is a very small project for a designer, but Shakir welcomed m...e sincerely and went through the details. I was impressed that he immediately rectified the issue and show me the design on his computer. He then shows me the quotation of the total cost in detail. Unlike other companies, they quote the customers first with lots of hidden details and give them surprises later.

It is easier to work with him as he is knowledgeable and experienced.

The second part that I would like to share is that the timeline to meet deadlines. It was nearer to Hari Raya and I was not sure if any contractors can commit the project during the festive period. Shakir planned the schedule as promised and managed to complete the work on time. My wife and I were impressed and would like to thank him for the job well done during a short period.

Lastly, something that I would like to share. If you are someone who has high expectation of quality of design work and finishes like myself. I would strongly recommend this chap. This is because he has a good eye, committed and honest about the detailed cost. Moreover, he is flexible and easier to communicate which makes life easier for customers.

We sourced a few IDs to source out ideas and quotes for our new 5 room BTO. Cedrick looked through some of our quotes and gave us full details on what we were quoted and whether it makes sense.

Looking from there, we decided to choose E+E Design and Build as our ID for our home. Cedrick was proficient and went through details such as choosing or laminate, kitchen tiles and the works schedule.

Works completed on time even though we had some minor additions to the house. Cedrick also ensure that items that we have bought seperately were mounted on its specific locations. He also kept updating the house status via Whatsapp so we dont have to keep going to the house and have a look.

As we needed any extra room, we went searching for an Interior Designer. With no floor plan of our existing apt, Cedric from E+e Design & Build, greeted us and offered to retrieve a copy with no obligation on even engaging him. In an instant, we know Cedric is our ID for our new transformation. With Cedric, we managed to renovate our kitchen, made a multi-purpose "guest" room and even squeeze in a wall Feature. Not exceeded our Budget. Cedric was willing to help and go the extra mile to clarify all doubts/queries pertaining to the renovation process. Even with many several changes during the course of the renovation, which then required him to change the invoice a few times, Cedric had showed patience.

On top of that, their quick response in rectifying any issues pertaining to the workmanship is an added assurance that they are always on the ball to help us clients.

Overall, We like the workmanship of E+e Design & Build and the customer services given, too.

We engaged Mr Eric Law for our new BTO flat's renovation. He was very patient in understanding our needs and was able to articulate our ideas and concepts clearly and quickly in 3D drawings. We were really impressed by his experience in handling our project, given the tight deadline given by us.

Here's what truly wowed us enough to sign the renovation package on the spot:-

1) Eric was extremely experienced. He could tell us exactly how things can be done and why it is to be carried out in this manner. For example, he would suggest how the air-con trucking can be installed to minimize the unsightliness. He also understood our concerns about the false ceiling being too low (I have mild claustrophobia) and unlike other contractors, he had the ability to give us the minimum false ceiling height and our home retained that nice bright airy feeling. When we wanted frosted glass for our black-framed aluminum PD door (it is super nice, so no regrets), he was able to caution us that it would be rather translucent and could be a bit awkward for the common toilet. (And he was right)

2) He has an eye for design. He made many suggestions (while still respecting our general design concept) that subtly improved our design and was a great help when we subsequently moved in. For example, he suggested a nice bay window for our master bedroom. The colour combination was perfect and the design provided a nice side table for my hubby. All my friends complimented that my house looks huge (I didn't hack any walls!) and every corner is well utilized!

After signing the package, he was an extremely responsible project manager. He has this extremely detailed schedule for the different type of works and ensure that all works were completed in a timely manner. He was always contactable and readily answered all my questions. The workmanship was also good as he personally monitored the work progress of our renovation works.

We are extremely satisfied with Eric's work and would (already have!) highly recommend him to our friends and family.That's how great our experience has been!

For instances, he suggested we go down physically to our flat to lay the tiles to determine the best color combination. And he spent half a day doing that physical work with us! On another instance, he volunterred to collect our basin from the hardware shop jus to ensure we are on time. All these extra efforts really demostrated his professionallism & dedication and soon he won our trust, and became friends. We shared jokes and discuss about matters beyond this project.
The outcome of the renovation was fantastic and We both loved it.

I am a true and avid supporter of E+e Design Pte Ltd!

I've known Mr Eric Law personally for more than 20 years now, ever since he started his own interior design business. He has been the only interior designer I've employed for all my new flats in Singapore, which goes to show his high ability and capability in interior design.

He is able to cater to my needs and wants with regard to the interior designs I have in mind for my flat. For example, he was able to custom make an ...entire bed set for my daughter, highly unique and cannot be found anywhere else! It is really like building a dream home.

In the course of the negotiations, he uses softwares to first draft out his designs, based on my thoughts and ideas, then confirms with me to check if those designs are indeed what I had in mind. This is especially useful since having 0 knowledge in interior design, his drafts are visual manifestations of those ideas in my head, where I could then move on to decide if they are pleasant-looking enough based on my own preferences. In general he also checks if it would be a practical and feasible design. (you know sometimes some things look good, but aren't feasible. he helps you solve that problem!)

In addition, he is very efficient in his work progress because he makes sure that the renovation work is done by the deadline communicated to me. For example, just recently, when I requested to build an additional air-conditioner in my living room, he promised that all necessary works would be completed in a week's time. Indeed, it was all completed in 4 days, even shorter than the duration as promised! This was really important to me given that I was running a tight schedule and it was vital that he kept to his promise and the deadline.

Those who have been to my houses are deeply amazed by the structure and designs and even commented that they hoped they had known me earlier, so I would recommend such an interior designer to them!

Friends who, based on my recommendation, employed Mr Eric Law's help were extremely pleased with the end product as well. For example, recently, he managed to implement designs which saved tremendous amount of space, in the extremely small HDB BTO flats my friend just got (as all of us know).

Most importantly, his services are extremely affordable and you would definitely not regret paying the price for his products given their unique designs and high quality.

E+e Design & Build did an awesome job in renovating my apartment within a short timeframe. We had a great experience with Shakir from E+e Design. Their team is very responsive through the renovation process and the project and completed promptly. We requested for some unique colored tiles which turn out GREAT and PERFECT. Other installations such as cabinet doors are of quite good quality and installed well with no problems at all. From the beginning Shakir was extremely patient to cater to our ideas and designs. Although we just engaged him to do our kitchen and 3 bedrooms, he explained clearly what was best for us and suit our theme.

Being 1st time home owners, naturally we will be excited and get over our heads on the things we pick. Fortunately Shakir was steadfast and directed us to what was best.

The quality was tip top. Even when we detected some anomalies, he will rectify it ASAP. ...
He would also on his own accord help us on behalf to see if there was any defects. Once I heard him correcting his workers sternly over a minor defect. This made me feel assured that my home will be in good hands.

Apart from the workmanship, he help us lay out a schedule for ALL the works that will be carried out. This really took alot of weight from my mind. There were nearly ZERO delays in completing any work and handovers.

Shakir was also a very nice person. He would help us move some things that were hindering the works e.g my huge fridge and washing machine. I don't think many designers would do that and get thier hands dirty for the owners.

To conclude, he is one designer that will REALLY put your mind as ease. He really loves what he does and this makes the work excellent and top notch !!!

We are a newlywed couple who just gotten our house keys in June during the fasting month & was patronizing Tanjong Katong Complex for our raya clothing but ended up greeted by Shakir when we happened to stop in front of the store to look at the quotation & service they provided.
It was like a blessing in disguise for us as we have no intention of having our house renovated asap especially since it was the fasting month.
We did went to 3 other IDs companies and asked for quotations but eventually we settled for E+e Design & Build. E+e has transformed our semi into a posh house with its open concept and modern design through the clever use of mirrors and glasses! Even our fengshui master loves it! Last year Oct 2015 I did my kitchen and toilet renovation with E&e build Design company ... I am very happy with their work . Most of the workers are 20 yrs or more experience , done professionally. My interior designer Shakir is very professional in his skill and attitude . He look young and sophisticated but his knowledge and ideas is superb .
